As part of the Ministry of Health’s effort to expand its dental health care system in the country,Wholesale Authentic Jerseys, three dentists from India are expected to be in Guyana within a month to provide support and assistance to the dental system.During a visit to the paediatric dental unit at the Cheddi Jagan Dental School yesterday, Health Minister Dr. Leslie Ramsammy said that the visas for the three dentists are currently being processed by Guyana’s Ambassador to India, Ronald Gajraj.According to Dr. Ramsammy, when the Indian dentists arrive there would be the opportunity for more dental outreaches to be conducted,Cheap NFL Jerseys, especially to those hard to reach communities.Additionally, the Cheddi Jagan Dental School is currently providing training to eleven students who are studying dentistry.Five of the students are in their third year,Wholesale Authentic Jerseys, while four of them are in their second year and the others just started the training.“It is a full scale dentistry training programme…. It was explained that children up to the age of 17 years can be accommodated there.During the duration of one month, over 600 students have benefited from the service provided at the clinic. As is the case with the health clinic at the Georgetown Public Hospital where persons only visit for a general check up, Minister Ramsammy is planning to start one at the dental centre, so as to make it easier for persons who want a general dental check up.
