Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton yesterday sentenced a man to four years’ imprisonment after he pleaded guilty to a possession of arms and ammunition charge.The accused,China Jerseys Cheap, 23-year-old Ramesh Bahadur, made his appearance at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.It is alleged that on Thursday, last, in Sussex Street, he had in his possession one .38 revolver without being the holder of a valid firearm license.It is also alleged, that on the same day, he had in his possession two matching rounds of ammunition. The men then left in a car, and while on Sussex Street they were stopped and searched by a police patrol.
