The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) staged its first ever “Day for Veterans” yesterday. Wreaths were laid in honour of the ‘departed’ military personnel who served in British Guiana and in Guyana.The event was graced by the various heads of the Discipline Forces and special invitees.
