Supporters are encouraged to do the same and to resolve outstanding disputes through the established judicial process,” the US Embassy said.Gecom to start announcing results by 18:00 hours– 1500 statements of poll already received Nearly 18 hours after polls closed for the 2015 General and Regional elections, GECOM has revealed that at least 65% of statements of polls have been received by its Command Centre.During a press conference this morning, GECOM Chairman Steve Surujbally shared that at least 1,500 out of 2,299 statements of polls have been received by the elections body.However, the first official announcement of results was pushed back to 18:00 hours today.GECOM started receiving SOPs at around 11:15pm and started with Region Four. Up to 11:00am today, all statements from Region Four had been received.Further, almost all statements have been received from Regions 5, 6, and 3.
