Lance Corporal Singh testified to the activities he performed during the arrest and the investigation of the matter against the five men.He was cross examined by one of the men’s lawyers, Defence Attorney George Thomas. The lawyer did not appear for Morgan who subsequently declined to question the police witness in light of the absence of his attorney, Nigel Hughes.Singh was re- examined by court prosecutor, Stephen Telford.Second to take the stand was another police witness, Assistant Superintendent, Motie Dookie. The man who only took the stand for approximately five minutes testified to what transpired on the day of the alleged incident.Cross examination was declined by both Attorney Thomas and accused Morgan. Re-examination was also declined.The five accused who are facing the charge of murder and setting fire to a public building will return to court on January 4. The matter against them will continue today. It has been indicated that the matter will proceed with both morning and afternoon session.
