Last March, the Mayor and City Council announced that the Council will be introducing a new online Revenue Collection and Financial Management System (RCFMS) shortly. This was according to the Council’s Network Administrator,Adrian Kempe Jersey, Adunni Christian, and Chief Executive Officer of Innosys, Richard Langford. Innosys is the company developing the RCFMS software.This software is expected to significantly improve the Council’s Information Technology capabilities and financial accountability. M&CC Public Relations Officer (PRO),Brian Poole Falcons Jersey, Debra Lewis, told Kaieteur News that the RCFMS is not yet operational. Chase Green noted that since many persons do not pay their taxes on time and the M&CC does not collect enough funds, deficits are encountered annually.
