Public Relations Officer of the Royal Barbados Police, Inspector David Welch appeared live on radio on Friday night for the crowd to control their behaviour.Cornelius lived not far from Taboo in Wellington Street in Barbados and all five of the young ladies who perished in the fire were friends.It is understood that the other two girls (both Bajans) were waiting on Amanda, Kelisha and Shanna to finish their work to go and hang out when disaster struck.The timing of the robbery was especially bad for Amanda, since the Guyanese who attended school during the week only worked at the store on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.
