The three suspects who were pursued and apprehended by police following a high speed chase on Friday, November 20, last, had their case discharged yesterday by Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson. It was their second court appearance.Marvin Williams,Andre Gomes Jersey, Dexter Conway and Rawlin Kennedy were all remanded by Magistrate Priya Beharry on November 24 for a simple larceny charge along with one for damage to property.The allegation against the three men was that on November 20 they stole items valued at $150,000 from Darshanie Danraj. They also were accused of damaging the door of a minibus, which was valued at $25,000.During their first court appearance they all pleaded not guilty.The prosecution had objected to bail for the trio since they are being investigated for an alleged involvement in a robbery at Gizmos and Gadgets. The men were denied bail.Police prosecutor Krishnadat Ramana yesterday in court,Arturo Vidal Jersey, recalled the incident as stated in the facts of the prosecution.He said that on the day in question,Anthony Martial Jersey, the driver of BLL 4405 had parked the vehicle in the vicinity of Muneshwers.
