A vagrant who appeared in court charged with breaking into a church in which he was found hiding behind a piano “til’ day clean” was yesterday sentenced to four months in jail.Raul Ramsewak, of Rosignol Village Berbice West Coast Demerara,Juventus Jerseys, was charged with breaking into the Bethel Full Gospel Church at Norton Street,Andre Gomes Jersey, Werk-en-Rust,Andrea Barzagli Jersey, Georgetown,Cheap Juventus Jersey, on Thursday.He pleaded guilty and was sentenced by Magistrate Fabayo Azore.Ramsewak was found in the compound at 1:30 am hiding behind a piano. According to the prosecution’s evidence, Ramsewak lives on the streets. No weapons were found on him,Arturo Vidal Jersey, and he did not appear to have taken anything.Ramsewak was told of the allegation and he was subsequently arrested and charged by police officers after investigations. “He was in court just a month ago” said the prosecutor, “for stealing mangoes.”When asked to explain why he was in the building,Anthony Martial Jersey, Ramsewak told the court that he was escorted into the building by someone who had a key. Ramsewak yawned, then explained that he was taken there to help somebody do something.Before his sentence the magistrate took into consideration that he had a previous matter in court and that he did not steal anything from the Church. She also noted that he was of stable mind and responded to all of her questions.
