Formed in 1991, the Guyana United Artists a very socially and political conscious group is an umbrella organization comprises artistes, in the visual, performing and literary arts.Most of its members have won national and international acclaim.Under the motto Unity in diversity GUA’s objective is to highlight the role of contemporary Guyanese artists in a struggle to unite Guyanese by way of a comprehensive understanding of social and cultural history via art forms.
