Canada-based immigration consultant Balwant Persaud was yesterday released on $1.1M bail after his attorney moved to the High Court to have him released.Chief Justice Ian Chang granted Persaud’s release after attorney-at-law Glen Hanoman argued that the charges against his client were bailable offences.
