The 48-year-old businessman was reportedly confronted by four men and was shot to the head and chest. The bandits took his jewellery and a wallet before escaping.Ramlall was later pronounced dead on arrival at the West Demerara Regional Hospital.The assailants had prematurely aborted their attack when an alarm was raised by the businessman’s wife and neighbours.
