In a continuation of the events to celebrate Emancipation,Nike Air Max 2018 Release, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport hosted an Emancipation exhibition Thursday on the ground floor of the Guyana National Museum.Participants who attended the workshop hosted by the Ministry of Culture Youth & SportsThe exhibition featured a number of African art work. It illuminated the route along which the slaves were brought to the Caribbean (the Middle Passage), the major rebellions that took place in the colony of British Guiana and the contribution of the slaves to the Guyanese society.There were sculptures, drawings,NFL Jerseys From China, paintings, fabric design and even many Caribbean and Guyanese history books which all depicted the life of the enslaved.Tom Dalgetty made reflections on several aspects of the history leading up to Emancipation. He spoke of his experiences in African countries as he traversed the routes of Guyana’s slave history.At the short opening ceremony of the exhibition,Cheap Nike Air Max 90 Mens, there was the handing over of certificates to 30 children who participated in a Taxidermy Summer Camp hosted by the Ministry.The two-phase camp which attracted the attention of 60 children between the ages of eight and 12 years, commenced on July 11, last. The first phase ended on July 22 and the second which commenced on July 25 was slated to conclude yesterday.Invitations to attend the camp were open to the public via advertisements.
