It would appear as though the Government Information Agency (GINA) basically handed $20.1M toFormer Head of GINA Neaz SubhanNeeaz Subhan and Kwame McCoy.Some of this money went to print and distribute a newspaper called “The Guyanese” newspaper which was circulated in and around the New York area. What is worse is that GINA did not even record an income despite the newspaper attracting paid advertisements. This was revealed in a special audit report conducted on the state agency. The special forensic audit report also found that a Rajiv Sanchara was the one who received the handsome salary to print and distribute the newspaper in the USA.Additionally, the report found that GINA also paid $8,Nike Air Vapor Max Flyknit,373,Undefeated Air Max 97 For Sale,355 for television and radio programmes in New York. These programmes started in September 2014.It was revealed that no revenue was received by GINA for advertisements during these programmes.Recommendations have since been made for the expenditure on the newspaper to be recovered.Since the APNU+AFC Coalition assumed office, the paper which was circulated fortnightly in the USA,Cheap NHL Jerseys, was cancelled.Leader of the Alliance For Change (AFC), Khemraj Ramjattan, had bemoaned the “taxpayer” funded newspaper on several occasions. He referred to it as a creature of the past regime which was only intended to carry the propaganda of the People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C).GINA’s Former Head,World Baseball Classic Jerseys 2017, Neaz Subhan had refused to answer critical questions from Kaieteur News on this newspaper claiming that it was an internal matter. But publisher of Kaieteur News,Cheap Air Max 90 Men Shoes, Glenn Lall, who has been printing the New York edition of Kaieteur News for more than 15 years,Cheap Air Max 2018, had explained that the money reportedly spent by the government to print six issues of ‘The Guyanese’ could have printed two years, or 100 issues of that same fortnightly newspaper.
