However, the “light conversation” on this occasion quickly turned into an argument and the woman opted to return inside.Kaieteur News was told that after she turned away and was heading back to the house her husband whipped out a large knife and started stabbing her repeatedly.He then picked up a neighbour’s bicycle and rode away. The woman was picked up by relatives and taken to the hospital.Meanwhile, Kaieteur News understands that a lawyer had contacted the police and said that his client would be turning himself in.However, up to press time the man was not in police custody.
