Three men accused of breaking into a Regent Street Chinese store and making off with over $8.3M in jewellery, clothing, footwear and other items were remanded to prison when they appeared in court yesterday.John Helliger, 21, a labourer of Lot 333 Meadowbrook Gardens, Georgetown, Ingram Williams, 59,China Jerseys Cheap, a labourer with no fixed place of abode; and Steve Jordan, 40, a carwash attendant of Lombard Street,Cheap Authentic Jerseys, Werk-en-Rust, were not required to plead to the indictable break and enter and larceny charge.The three men were jointly charged with one count of break and enter and larceny.The court heard that between January 20 and January 21, last, at Alexander and Regent Streets, they broke and entered Yi Zhen Trading Store and stole 800 watches, 1300 bracelets,Wholesale Hockey Jerseys 2018, 500 wristlets, 20 handbags, 10 boxes of female slippers, 100 jeans, 1000 pieces of female clothing,Cheap NFL Jerseys Free Shipping, 200 skirts,Cheap NFL Jerseys, 400 torch lights, 100 male slippers and a television (TV) set.The case was prosecuted by Corporal Renetta Bentham. She said that about 17:00 hours on Tuesday, Zhen closed her store,Cheap Jerseys, leaving everything intact and went to bed. Bentham said it was around 03:00 hours the next morning that the store owner was awoken by a cellular phone call.The caller, the Prosecutor said, informed her that her store had been broken into. When she arrived there, she noticed that the glass door was shattered, the steel shutter was prised open and her goods had been ransacked.According to Bentham, the police caught the men with some of the articles and they were taken to the Alberttown Police Station where charges were subsequently laid.Two of the defendants (Williams and Helliger), were easily identified by the Magistrate who recalled that they were recently brought before her on different charges.Bentham objected to bail citing the serious nature and prevalence of the offence. She said the trio confessed to the burglary. The Prosecutor added that Williams and Helliger have no fixed place of abode, that given the gravity of the charge, they would not return for trial if granted bail.The Magistrate remanded them to prison and ordered that they reappear in court on January 30 for report.
