Mr. Retimyer is very concerned about the youths of Guyana and wants to play his role to ensure that they stay on the right path,” Benschop said.Annie Charles,Cheap Jerseys From China, Senior Assistant of the library, told this newspaper that the donation is a timely one, since their goal is to encourage children to get into the habit of reading.“I think knowing Mr. Benschop will make the children want to come to the library when they know that they (the books) have been donated by him,” Charles told Kaieteur News.During the simple ceremony, it was observed that the roof of the facility was leaking, causing the officials there to make temporary arrangements to preserve the books.Benschop undertook to seek assistance for the repairs to the roof, and urged other public spirited persons to chip in.Minutes after the presentation, Region Four Chairman Clinton Cornette, who was in the area, promised to have the matter rectified, since the library is housed in the Grove/ Haslington Neighbourhood Democratic Council Building.
