The robberies had happened over a four-month period.Smith had told the magistrate that he was admitting to the charges because he could not fight it. The sentences were ordered to run concurrently.Smith was caught by alert prison officers after a failed escape bid from the Georgetown Prison.Sources within the prison had told Kaieteur News that Smith slipped into the prison compound while meals were being served and scaled the eastern fence, which is topped with razor wire.The youth then ran east along D’Urban Street, but was recaptured shortly after.Smith again made headlines last May after he slipped into the prison compound at around 18:00hrs while meals were being served.It was this point that the youngster tried to make his escape bid,Wholesale China Jerseys, and jumped over the eastern fence which is topped with razor wire.He was quickly recaptured by prison officials and taken back to his cell.
