The Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) has issued a statement indicating that it has not granted Local Observer Status to the Guyana Public Service Union (GPSU) for the upcoming Regional and General Elections slated for May 11.In a public notice,Cheap Adidas NHL Jerseys, the elections agency has clarified that this process is yet to take place. The union stated that Public Servants carry out the mandate of the Government and ensure that the machinery of the Government runs smoothly. “Hence if Public Servants are of the view that the Regional and General Elections are conducted in a fair and free manner, they will be better positioned to serve.”With this view in mind, the Union applied for accreditation.
