Two men who allegedly tried to break and enter the dwelling house of Ronald Haniff were both denied their pretrial liberty yesterday after they appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson, at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.The men Andrew Vigilance,Cheap Wholesale Jerseys, 22,Cheap Jerseys Wholesale, of Newtown, and Hassan Murray,Sale NFL Jerseys, 25, of 11 Roxanne Burnham Gardens,NFL Jerseys China, are both accused of attempting to commit a felony.It was alleged that the two men on March 21, last, attempted to break into Haniff’s dwelling house. They both pleaded not guilty.They were represented by attorney at law Basil Williams, who, in his bail application,Wholesale China Jerseys, told the court that both clients have no previous convictions and are gainfully employed. Williams said that there is no evidence whatsoever that his clients were in the building. He said that there is nothing in the law books which support the charge.The lawyer further noted that charge was an eminently bailable one, adding that bail should be granted in a reasonable sum.The owner of the house,Cheap Jerseys From China, Nelda Azeez, who lives in a separate apartment in the same building, was present in court and gave her version of events to the magistrate.According to the woman the two men broke the window at the back and attempted to enter the building. She said that a neighbour allegedly saw Vigilance and Murray breaking the window and called the police.Azeez said that she heard a knocking at her front door and when she opened the door four heavily armed policemen told her that someone was breaking into her home.The woman said that the police found the two men lying in the grass in their pants.“The police told them not to move or else they are going to shoot their heads off,” Azeez told the magistrate.Police Prosecutor Stephen Telford objected to bail and told the court that the two men entered a fenced yard and tried to break into the house.Telford said that both defendants were trying to enter the building and a neighbour called the police.The prosecutor told the court that they were caught in the yard in the bushes. Telford also asked for the file to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for further legal advice.Attorney at law Basil Williams interjected and told the court that the applications which were made by the prosecutor were unlawful and have no merit.He said that the prosecutor is being speculative and bail should be granted.Bail was denied. The defendants are expected to make another court appearance today.
