Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited pulled its advertisements from Kaieteur News on Tuesday insisting that the newspaper retract and apologize for two articles published last month.According to the bank, in a letter dated February 9, Kaieteur News has failed to fulfill a number of requests.The demands by the bank were sparked by two articles that were published about the bank on January 6 and January 7, last. The lawyers also made demands on behalf of the bank.“Regrettably, to date the requests made on behalf of the bank have not been fulfilled.
